KNOW ABOUT KUSHINAGAR (PART 1)

It is a district of Uttar Pradesh. It comes in Gorakhpur  mandal. It is 40 to 50 Km. far from Gorakhpur itself. Kushinagar is not a city, it just a name of small place which is very famous just because of Mahatma Buddha. One of the famous Buddhist pilgrimage destinations was Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh in India. Kushinagar also is revered as the place where Buddha gave his last sermon, Mahaparinibbana Sutta where he enlisted importance of four-fold pilgrimage featuring Lumbini, Bodhgaya, Sarnath, and Kushinagar for an inspiring pilgrimage.
